Pooh’s got a rumbly in his tummy! We’ve created a spring themed Winnie the Pooh Brunch inspired by Pooh’s favorite food – honey! Get our full menu with all the recipes, and decor ideas to create a Pooh themed brunch, baby shower, or spring celebration. All printables used are available here.
The tablescape is inspired by the spring flowers in the Hundred Acre Wood. We dressed the table in a yellow and white gingham tablecloth and used handmade rustic woodland serving pieces and spring flowers.
We also created a sweet and tasty Bee Tree centerpiece using a simple 6-inch styrofoam cone, donut holes and candy bees. Simply add toothpicks to your donut holes and insert them into a 6″ styrofoam cone. Use hot glue to adhere candy bees to florists wire and insert into the cone.
We used florals from Michaels to create these spring floral arrangements. We arranged mini daises, yellow billy balls, and delicate pink poppies in white farmhouse style tins that we picked up at Dollar Tree. We loved how they turned out!
Our Amazon Basics white dinner plates got a touch of Hundred Acre Wood charm with custom plate circles created using Pooh clipart. The custom plate circles, cupcake wrappers & picks, and Hundred Acre Wood wall art set are available in our Etsy shop. Shop here!
Each place setting sat atop a rustic rattan charger and are paired with tied light blue napkins and bamboo cutlery. We purchased the rattan chargers at Target but these are also available through Serena and Lily. Cayman highball glasses with seagrass covers completed the setting.
We created custom prints of Pooh and his friends using clipart and hung them over our serving buffet. These are part of our Pooh printable package on Etsy. We decorated the serving buffet with our collection of vintage white ware.
One of our favorite family traditions is dying and decorating Easter eggs each spring. This year we created a set of Hundred Acre Woods egg friends: Pooh, Piglet, Eeyore, and Tigger.
To create these eggs we first blew out the inside of the egg. We dyed the eggs using a basic egg dying kit and then used acrylic paints to add the features and details. We used felt to create the ears and Eeyore’s mane and used hot glue to adhere them to the eggs.
It was a fun and easy project. We displayed the eggs in these egg cup holders.
Our menu was inspired by Pooh’s favorite food, honey, and our favorite spring flavors. This menu is an easy one to put together for a spring celebration such as Easter, or for a special occasion brunch. Get all the recipes and details below.
