This beautiful and vibrant strawberry mango layered smoothie is bursting with vibrant tropical flavors. It’s not only delicious, but healthy too. This smoothie was served on our Winnie the Pooh breakfast menu.
Strawberry Mango Layered Smoothie
Serves 4
Ingredients:
MANGO LAYER
- 1 cup crushed ice
- 2 cups frozen mango
- 1 banana, sliced
- 1/2 cup vanilla yogurt
- 3/4 cup orange juice, plus more if smoothie is too thick
- 1 tablespoon honey
STRAWBERRY LAYER
- 1 cup crushed ice
- 2 cups frozen strawberries
- 1 frozen banana, sliced
- 1/4 cup vanilla yogurt
- ¼ cup milk, plus more if smoothie is too thick
- 1 tablespoon honey
Instructions:
- Mango layer – Place ingredients in a blender in the order they are listed and blend until smooth. Add more orange juice while the smoothie is blending if it is too thick.
2. Strawberry Layer – Place ingredients in a blender in the order they are listed and blend until smooth. Add milk while the smoothie is blending if it is too thick.
3. Assemble – Spoon half the mango smoothie mixture into glasses. Add a layer of strawberry smoothie. Top each smoothie with another layer of mango smoothie and add a fresh strawberry for garnish.
Note: The smoothie layers may blend together. To avoid this, freeze each layer briefly before adding the next layer.
