These Puppy Love Sundaes are so sweet and fun to eat! Your guests will love them! We used the chewy brownie recipe from Martha Stewart but you can also use a high quality boxed brownie mix. This recipe was featured on our Lady and the Tramp Disney dinner.:
Puppy Love Sundaes
Makes 4
Ingredients:
- Ghirardelli Triple Chocolate Brownie Mix
- 1 egg
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- Strawberries
- Cookies & Cream Gelato
- Chocolate Syrup
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a 8×8 baking dish with parchment paper. Set aside. Combine water, vegetable oil and egg in medium bowl and stir to combine. Add brownie mix and stir until combined. Spread in baking dish and bake for 40-45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Allow to cool completely before removing from pan.
2. Remove cooled brownies and place on a cutting board. Using a 3-4″ bone cookie cutter, cut out four bone shapes. Place on small serving plates.
3. Cut tops off of strawberries and slice them lengthwise. Using a mini heart cookie cutter, cut out twelve heart strawberries. Set aside.
4. Assemble puppy faces by adding a scoop of gelato adjacent to the bottom of each bone. Add two strawberry eyes and a strawberry nose. Drizzle with warm chocolate syrup.
