Prince Charming is so noble and handsome! We created these delicious trifles in his honor. Pumpkin spice cake is layered with maple infused whipped cream and candied pecans. The tops are drizzled with salted caramel and sprinkled with gold pearls. So delicious! This recipe was featured on our Cinderella Disney dinner.
Makes 4 single serving trifles

1. Make maple whipped cream – Add whipping cream, maple syrup and vanilla to the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with a whisk attachment. Whip until soft peaks form. Set aside.
2. Make candied pecans – In a small bowl combine sugar, water, vanilla, and salt. Stir to combine. In a medium saucepan, toast pecans over medium heat for 2-3 minutes. Stir to prevent burning. Quickly drizzle the sugar mixture over the pecans, stirring to coat. Remove from heat and spread over parchment paper. Allow to cool and break apart if necessary.
3. Assemble trifles – To a serving glass, add a layer of pumpkin spice muffin chunks, about an inch deep. Top with layers of maple whipped cream and candied pecans. Repeat all three layers. Top with whipped cream, gold sprinkles, a large candied pecan and a drizzle of caramel sauce. Enjoy!
