Nothing says warm sunshine and blue skies like lemonade! Learn to make this delicious drink found at Casey’s Corner in Magic Kingdom with just a few simple ingredients. The version served at Casey’s is blended so you can easily add your ingredients to your favorite blender with ice if you prefer.
Mint Julep Lemonade
Make 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 3-4 cups water, divided
- 1 1/2 cup fresh mint leaves, divided
- 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
Instructions:
- Make the simple syrup – Place the sugar, 1 cup of water, and 1 cup mint leaves in a small saucepan. Bring to a simmer and allow to cook for 20 minutes, stirring to ensure sugar dissolves completely. Remove from heat and allow to cool. Using a strainer, remove mint leaves and discard.
- Mix the lemonade – Pour the lemon juice and the simple syrup into a serving pitcher. Add 2 to 3 cups of cold water to taste. Garnish with fresh mint and lemon slices.
