For this Minecraft party we featured natural textures and elements like grass squares, burlap, natural plants, and a white brick backdrop. We used a color scheme that reflected the forests of the Overworld but added aqua blue, white, and gray to keep the decor lighter.
We dressed the tables in chocolate brown tablecloths with beige burlap runners and 4-inch wide avocado green burlap ribbon. We sewed our tablecloths but these are a similar color and weight.
We added lime green stoneware plates and square folded black cotton napkins to the guest table. We purchased these plates several years ago at Dollar Tree and unfortunately they are no longer available, but closely resemble shamrock Fiesta dinnerware. Pint jar mugs from Dollar Tree with black and white striped straws held our Creeper spritzer. The mugs were decorated with black electrical tape to create a Creeper face.
For our guest table centerpiece we wrapped some boxes in aqua blue gift wrap and brown kraft paper and displayed a Minecraft diamond sword in front of them.
We decorated the dessert table with a plush Ender Dragon and hung paper lanterns in aqua blue, lime green and white, and black in front of the white brick backdrop. A custom Minecraft banner was created using subtle gaming motifs in gray, lime, aqua, black, and white.
This party menu is filled with simple kid-friendly favorites in cube shapes. Get our recipes below to recreate this simple and fun Minecraft themed party menu.
