One of the most fabulous flavors of fall is fresh apple cider donuts served with warm cider! Create a trio of delightful Mickey Halloween Donuts using apple cider donuts, donut holes and chocolate. Minnie, Mickey, and their bat friend are all ready for Halloween!
Mickey Halloween Donuts
Ingredients
- Apple cider donuts
- Donut Holes
- Toothpicks
- Chocolate Candy Melts
- Fondant
- Halloween sprinkles
- Yellow M & Ms
Instructions
- Make Mickey donuts – Prepare work area with waxed paper. Use toothpicks to attach two donut holes to each donut to resemble a Mickey silhouette.
2. Dip donuts – Melt candy melts according to package instructions. Place melts in a mini bread pan or other small rectangular dish. Candy melts should be around 3” deep for ease of dipping. Carefully dip each Mickey donut top first into candy melts. Set on a sheet of waxed paper to dry.
3. Decorate the donuts – While candy melts are still wet, add sprinkles if desired. Use fondant to make a Minnie bow, bat wings, or a witches hat. Add two yellow M & Ms to the Mickey donut to resemble his buttons.
