Mickey Easter Nest Treats

Ingredients:

• 2 tablespoons butter
• 20 marshmallows (about 5 ounces)
• Pastel sprinkles
• 3 c Rice Krispie cereal
• Coconut
• Green food coloring
• Chocolate Mini Eggs (we like Cadbury brand)

Instructions:

1. In large microwave safe bowl, melt butter and marshmallows.  Remove from microwave and add cereal and pastel sprinkles. Stir until well coated. Using buttered spatula press mixture into 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan coated with butter. Mixture should be around 1-inch thick. Allow to set until firm.

2. While Krispie treats firm, prepare coconut. Add 1/4 cup coconut to a Ziplog bag. Add green food coloring. Seal bag and combine by working the coloring through the coconut with your hands. Lay colored coconut on a parchment lined baking sheet and allow to air dry.

3. Using a Mickey cookie cutter, cut out shapes and place on waxed paper. Slightly indent center of each shape with your thumb to create a nest. Transfer to a serving platter and fill with colored coconut and chocolate mini eggs.
