Our family loves the mermaids in Peter Pan! We wanted to recreate the Peter pan float from Storybook Treats in the Magic Kingdom but added a twist to give a nod to the mermaids. We love the result! This float is delicious, refreshing, and whimsical! This recipe was part of our Peter Pan Disney dinner.
Mermaid Floats
Ingredients
- Lime Sherbet or Lime Dole Whip
- Sprite
- Sky Blue Food Coloring
- Blue Wilton Candy Melts

Instructions
- Melt candy melts according to package directions and fill mold. Chill until firm. Remove and set aside.
- Place 2 scoops of lime sherbet or Dole Whip into a glass.
- Pour ½ cup of Sprite or 7-Up into a liquid measuring cup; Stir in a tiny bit of blue food coloring.
- Carefully pour blue soda around the ice cream. Add a mermaid tail.
