Are you ready to add a touch of the Force to your next gathering? Look no further than the Sparkling Lightsaber Drink! The drinks are garnished with your choice of mini lightsaber decorations or light blue rock candy sticks. This drink was served on our “Return of the Jedi” Star Wars movie night.
Sparkling Lightsaber
Makes 2 servings
Ingredients:
- 2 cups club soda
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- Drop of green food coloring
- Granulated sugar, optional
- Rose’s Blueberry Syrup
- Ice Cubes
Instructions:
1. Make Simple Syrup – Heat water in a small saucepan over medium-low heat until hot. Do not boil. Add the sugar and stir until fully dissolved. Allow to cool to room temperature.
2. Combine limeade – Combine lime juice and 2 tablespoons of simple syrup in a pitcher. Add green food coloring.
3. Assemble drinks – Dip rim of glass in water and then in sugar if desired. Fill glass with ice cubes. Pour 1/2 cup blueberry syrup over ice cubes. Add 1/2 cup lime mixture and top with 1 cup club soda. Garnish with a mini lightsaber or rock candy stick.
