Lightyear Movie Night

the Tablescape & Decor

The decor for this party was inspired by the alien planet Buzz and his friends explored. We added some industrial touches and used his signature colors of white, blue, green, and purple.

The table was dressed in a simple white tablecloth with a green burlap runner and vine trailing down the center.

A tiered tray served as a centerpiece. It featured a “To Infinity and Beyond” black and gold wooden sign by Bring Magic Home. Rattan balls, trailing vines, a white wood bead garland, and a Lightyear ship and Buzz figurine give a nod to Buzz’s explorations on the alien planet.

Blue, green, and purple melamine plates were nestled on a galvanized steel chargers. A purple “rocket” napkin (similar style) with silver dot stickers was secured with a silver napkin ring (similar design).

The dessert table was decorated with purple, green, and white paper lanterns and silver stars. A blue & purple galaxy “To Infinity and Beyond” sign by Bring Magic Home was paired with apothecary jars filled with colorful gumballs and lime Twizzlers and Buzz & Zurg figures.

A space rocket treat stand from Oriental Trading and fleet of galvanized steel serving dishes displayed Lightyear cupcakes, Sox cookies, Zurg cakesicles, rocket fruit kabobs, and alien veggie cups.

The Menu
