The Tablescape
Create an epic superhero tablescape that will wow your guests and make them feel like they’ve stepped right into a comic book! To create this look we used an off-white tablecloth with a small black pinstripe. It added a little detail without overpowering the place settings which were the focal point of the table
Superhero skyscraper placemats from our Etsy shop housed black & white pinstripe paper plates and fun superhero word pop paper plates from Meri Meri. We loved these plates and they were very affordable.
Superhero newsprint paper napkins added a lot of fun character to the place settings. We added economical black plastic cutlery, a black & white paper straw with an iron man topper, and a retro soda fountain glass. The tall shape was perfect for showing off the layers in our layered Iron Man mocktail.
We displayed an Iron Man cake as the centerpiece. To create an easy Iron Man cake, simply frost your favorite cake in red buttercream and add our Iron Man cake picks to the top. These are part of our Iron Man party printable pack available on Etsy. We added a skyline detail at the bottom of the cake using black fondant for a fun touch.

The Decor
Transform your party space into Tony Stark’s high-tech world with bold color schemes and iconic symbols to make your event unforgettable.
To create a dessert table backdrop in Iron Man’s colors of red, gold, and black use an affordable DIY balloon garland kit. We mounted our balloon garland over a white brick backdrop and added an Iron Man garland that can be purchased in our Etsy shop.
Set up a small table to house desserts and decor. We placed a white tablecloth over our dessert table and topped it with mid century modern starburst gift wrap. Using gift wrap as a table runner is an easy and affordable hack that adds a lot of character to any table. These papers from Amazon come in 17″ widths perfect to use as table runners.
Decor elements on the table include an Iron Man mask, a framed Iron Man print, an Iron Man figurine, and some DIY printable skyscrapers for a fun retro nod. We love the skyscrapers and used them on our dining table as well. You can purchase a PDF file to create these from Hooray Paper. We displayed desserts on this affordable set of wooden black cake plates.

To make these cupcakes, use the Wilton Color Swirl Piping Kit to frost your favorite cupcakes. To get this look we placed yellow buttercream in two of the bags and red buttercream in one bag. We used a large star tip to get this awesome swirl design that mirrors Iron Man’s colors.

Iron Man Cookies
Add a superhero touch to your next party with these fantastic Iron Man cookies. Shaped like Iron Man’s iconic mask, these cookies are sure to impress fans of all ages. They offer a delicious and visually appealing treat that captures the essence of Tony Stark’s iconic superhero persona.
To make these cookies use our sugar cookie recipe or store bought sugar cookie dough to make 4″ oval shaped cookies. We recommend this set of oval cookie cutters. Next top the cookies with red buttercream. We recommend purchasing pre-tinted red buttercream in order to have the depth of pigment needed for Iron Man’s shade of red. Finally, Roll gold fondant to 1/4″ thick and cut out Iron Man’s mask using this cookie cutter.
