2. Cook some German Food
Make your own Bavarian pretzels which were featured on our Snow White menu. Be sure to make some delicious cheese sauce to dip or grab some mustard to dip your pretzels in.
Nudel Gratin from our Tangled menu is Germany’s twist on classic mac ‘n cheese. It is made with cream, cheeses, and egg noodles and is the cheese lover’s dream! You can get Disney’s own recipe here.
We love this mushroom stew paired with German potato dumplings from our Snow White dinner. You can get the recipe for the mushroom stew from Where Is My Spoon and dumpling recipe from Taste of Home. The dumplings pair perfectly with any stew.
These spiced apple cupcakes are a twist on my Grandma’s German apple cake. They are flavored with apples, walnuts, raisins and cinnamon, filled with caramel, and topped with cream cheese frosting. This recipe was featured on our Little Mermaid dinner but is a German recipe through and through.
3. Learn about German Art
The Bavarian region of Germany is known for its famous artists including Albrecht Dürer. Enjoy a virtual tour of Alte Pinakothek, one of the oldest art galleries in the world.
