Create a festive Disney-inspired patriotic BBQ with adorable farmhouse details. To create this table we layered a picnic friendly polyester white tablecloth with a hemstich chambray table runner.
The place settings were nestled atop jute braided round placemats and galvanized steel chargers.
We found adorable patriotic Mickey & Minnie paper plates at Walmart and paired them with a blue and white stoneware dinner plates from Dollar Tree. Dollar General and Walmart both carry seasonal Disney partyware. It does tend to sell out, but check your local store for their current offerings.
Our place settings were completed with everyday flatware and pint jar glasses from Dollar Tree and a knotted blue and white star dinner napkin. We sewed these napkins using fabric from Joann Fabrics. Blue & white gingham napkins would look great with this place setting as well.
We created a simple centerpiece with red and white geraniums in a red metal bucket. We added three four-inch U.S. flags to add a festive touch. All our floral supplies were purchased from Michaels. Wooden stars in medium and small sizes were scattered around the center of the table.
We showcased our patriotic Mickey cupcakes on a tiered cupcake stand in the center of the table. A wooden patriotic Mickey cupcake sign from Bring Home Magic was the perfect icing on the cake to complete our centerpiece. This sign is also available with white frosting and both are available in their shop.
We served a classic BBQ menu of burgers, potato salad, sweet corn, fresh sweet cherries, and patriotic Mickey Cupcakes. We displayed our burgers along with Mickey-shaped buns and fixings on a farmhouse style tray.
