This recipe is perfect for parties, game nights, or Mexican fiestas and takes just 15 minutes and a few ingredients to make from scratch. Serve it with your favorite tortilla chips or fresh veggies. Queso Blanco
Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 3 tablespoons flour
- 2 cups whole milk
- 2 cups Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Melt butter in a medium saucepan on medium heat. Whisk in flour. Slowly pour 2 cups of milk and whisk until well combined. Add garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder, and salt. Add cheese and whisk until smooth and thickened.
- Garnish with fresh diced tomatoes or cilantro. Serve warm with your favorite chips or fresh vegetables.
