Entertain with Magic
Create a cozy Thanksgiving tablescape in soft hues of sage green and crisp white. Add gold accents and candlelight to create a warm and welcoming ambiance. Get our tips and shopping links below to create this pretty fall table.
Soft sage and crisp white are a beautiful combination that look lovely throughout the fall season. We took our inspiration from the blue doll and white pumpkins displayed on the serving buffet.
The tablescape is warm, cozy and inviting with casual touches like lamb’s ear, hydrangeas, white ware, and warm candle light.
Our table is dressed in a classic white hemstitch tablecloth from Pottery Barn. I’ve had this tablecloth for years and love it.
We created a spray of lambs ear down the center of the table. I love the pretty color and soft texture of these stems. These stems were purchased at Michaels several years ago and have berries on them which I love. I used four stems to create the spray.
For the centerpiece we filled a white farmhouse style pitcher from our collection of white ware with white hydrangea stems. We love hydrangeas and have a number of hydrangea varieties in our garden. When our hydrangeas aren’t in bloom we really enjoy these stems from Target. They are seasonal so if you aren’t able to purchase them, Michaels or Hobby Lobby have a nice selection as well.
We added brushed gold candlesticks in three heights from Michaels and added white tapers. Several simple glass votive holders were scattered throughout the spray of lambs ear. We added velvet pumpkins in green and white and some gold pumpkins that we painted for our Cinderella dinner.
Our place settings are simple for this dinner. We chose gold chargers to pick up the gold in the candlesticks and stems on the pumpkins. We used our Moscow mules along with a classic wine glass.
Simple white dinnerware was topped with a white hemstitch linen napkin also from Pottery Barn. The place settings were decorated with gold lettering Thanksgiving plate toppers.
We love hosting a large Thanksgiving dinner each year for family. Here are some of our favorite recipes.
