Set a kids’ turkey tablescape with us! This farmhouse style tablescape features layered orange gingham and turkey plates, DIY Mickey Turkey straws and polka-dot crackers filled with goodies for our Thanksgiving guests.
I love hosting Thanksgiving for our family of 12 each year. The kids’ table is one of my favorites to create. It’s so fun to add whimsical touches, colorful details, and fun favors to make our youngest guests feel festive!
This table is designed to be comfy and inviting! We created a low cozy table for our youngest guests with comfy pillow seating. The pillows have removable covers and are easy to swap out and wash.
Our table was dressed in a simple blue tablecloth. This tablecloth washes beautifully and never wrinkles which is such a bonus. We added a orange and white farmhouse style table runner. I love this runner and think it will be cute to use during summer and fall.
My dad built this cute tray using reclaimed wood and I love it. This white farmhouse style tray set from Amazon is adorable and the large size would work perfectly for this centerpiece. I love the scalloped edge.
I filled the tray with a potted mum from our local florist and assortment of gourds we picked up at the farmer’s market. I think the kids will enjoy the fun textures and colors of the gourds.
We absolutely love the fun party ware from My Mind’s Eye! The orange gingham plates and turkey plates are both from their shop. Not only are they adorable, but they are so easy.
We paired the plates with adorable wooden flatware in harvest shades from Michaels and farmhouse style pint jar mugs.
We created Mickey Turkey straw toppers for our mugs of apple cider. Blue polka dot paper was used to craft crackers that were filled with goodies for our guests to enjoy. The scrapbook paper was wrapped around a paper towel tube and filled with treats. We used curling ribbon to wrap the crackers at each end and added a Mickey Turkey sticker we created and printed on adhesive paper.
We love these mini pumpkin pies. We dressed them up with mini Mickey shaped sugar cookies. You could also use pie crust if you have some extra handy. We used our favorite Mickey cookie cutters for these and added the small cookies after they were baked.
