Fantasyland is one of the themed lands at Disney parks throughout the world. Each Fantasyland area includes a castle and rides themed after Disney’s animated fairy tales.
Attractions vary among Disney Parks, but some Fantasyland favorites include Peter Pan’s Flight, It’s a Small World, Dumbo the Flying Elephant, Mad Tea Party, and The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh.
Fantasyland is filled with whimsical delights! For this party we incorporated our favorite elements from this land, including a blue and white color scheme, Cinderella castle, and various royal touches. We also added some pastel balloons for fun and displayed our favorite character treats.
Our favorite element of the decor was the set of vintage Magic Kingdom printables created by Anna. The set includes a Magic Kingdom sign, a Fantasyland pick, and a pastel Fantasyland pennant banner. The set is available in our Etsy shop.
We dressed the table in a white tablecloth and added a light blue runner. Ours is homemade but you can find a similar one here. The satin finish of this runner is perfect with the blue tulle table skirt we added. The effect of the tulle and satin is beautiful!
Our place settings picked up on the pastel hues and vintage vibe of the decor. We chose gold chargers to layer with casual pink dinner plates and pastel paper plates with a gold scalloped edge.
We chose a polka dot napkin in the same color scheme and added a vintage soda fountain glass to complete the place settings. If you serve a sit down meal gold flatware would be beautiful, but we opted to offer all finger foods for this party.
Our Fantasyland party menu is filled with treats & sweets celebrating the characters and attractions of Fantasyland. This spread of finger foods works perfectly for a birthday party or other celebration. Get all the recipes below to create this party for your friends or family.
This Dumbo smoothie is bursting with blueberry and mango flavors. It is topped with fresh strawberries, whipped cream, and a pineapple star. Get our recipe this refreshing and healthy drink here.
This layered Peter Pan dip with star dippers is so delicious and fun to serve. Layers of guacamole, sour cream and pico de gallo are garnished with a red pepper shaped like a feather. Dippers are created using a cookie cutter and yellow corn tortillas.
We got the inspiration for this appetizer from 2 Geeks Who Eat and modified their recipe slightly to include sour cream. This is a delicious treat and is also very easy to put together. We assembled our Pete Pan appetizers in Tableluxe’s Mini Appetizer set.
Mickey’s PhilharMagic is such a cute and nostalgic attraction! We created some star studded Mickey fruit using watermelon and cantaloupe. We shaped the fruit with a star cookie cutter and a mini Mickey cookie cutter.
A white cheese blend makes the perfect backdrop for an “It’s a Small World” pizza. Use cheddar cheese geometric shapes and a homemade cheese sauce to create the details on famous It’s a Small World clock. Get our easy recipe here.
Caramel corn is a fan favorite for good reason! We purchased caramel corn at our local popcorn shop and made mini Mickey candies as a mix in. We used this silicone mold and pink candy melts. The caramel corn mix was served in teal and white striped candy bags and embellished with a custom sticker that is part of our Magic Kingdom printable set available on Etsy.
Pooh Bear’s got a rumbly in his tummy so we’ve whipped up a batch of Winnie the Pooh cakesicles made with creamy vanilla spice cake filling and a sweet, crunchy candy coating. Get our easy recipe here.
These rich chocolately cupcakes are topped with vanilla buttercream and adorable green hats and red feathers made of fondant. The cupcakes are topped with Mickey ears and vines. Get our easy recipe here.
Cheshire Cat Tails are one of our absolute favorite Disney Parks snacks! Fluffy layers of puff pastry are layered with vanilla pastry cream, dotted with chocolate, and drizzled with icing. They are utterly divine! We baked a batch of these yummy treats at home using The Unofficial Disney Parks Cookbook and they only require a few simple ingredients.
