This tablescape is blooming with romance and roses. We hosted this dinner in the summer garden. The table was dressed in a simple but elegant off-white linen hemstitched tablecloth.
Our centerpiece was a simple arrangement of limelight hydrangeas and pink roses. Unfortunately the warm weather caused our roses to wilt, but they were beautiful none the less. We placed them in a vintage glass pedestal bowl and flanked the arrangement with gold candle holders and white taper candles. You can find similar candle holders on Amazon.
We added a few fun details from the Sleeping Beauty story to the tablescape: a mini spinning wheel, a basket filled with vintage thread spools and a lace doily, and a framed print with a quote from the film. I would recommend visiting an antique shop to find vintage sewing supplies. My mom gifted me with these and they are so charming!
The dinnerware was my favorite element of this tablescape. We started with simple gold chargers. We layered beautiful pink stoneware dinner plates from Target and topped them with beautiful floral salad plates from Amazon. I love the varying floral patterns of this set. They were perfect for the theme!
We added some cotton floral napkins designed by Studio McGee for Target. These have beautiful heavy lace detail and look vintage. We chose gold flatware and Libby Hobstar goblets. We love this tablescape and think it’s fit for a princess!
This delicious menu was inspired by the characters and setting of Sleeping Beauty. It’s filled with tasty and easy to prepare dishes. Get all our recipes below to create this feast fit for a princess!
This light sparkling mocktail is such a treat! We filled champagne flutes with Martinelli Gold Medal Sparkling Blush and garnished the drinks with fresh raspberries. Simple, elegant, and delicious!
With so many tasty choices, a charcuterie board is the perfect way to begin a dinner or serve with drinks. Learn to create this princess charcuterie board in a few easy steps. This charcuterie board would be perfect for any princess themed party or meal. Get our easy recipe here.
Make a feast fit for kings for your next princess party or dinner. It includes Royal Pot Pie, Rosemary Roast Potatoes, and Surprisingly Good Brussels Sprouts. These dishes were inspired by the feast enjoyed by King Stefan and King Hubert in Sleeping Beauty. Get the recipe for all three dishes here.
Like Fauna, we aren’t using any magic to bake Briar Rose’s cake, but we do have an easy hack to create this iconic Sleeping Beauty cake. Learn to make it using store bought donuts and a few other common ingredients. This recipe was inspired by Disney Eats. Get our recipe here.
Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather are my favorite characters in this Disney classic! It’s only fitting that they have their own dessert. We made three different flavors of macarons {raspberry with raspberry filling, almond with blueberry filling, and mint with mint filling} and served them with fresh berries. We love this macaron recipe from Sally’s Baking Addiction.
Maleficent is devilishly delightful and is one of my favorite villains. These Maleficent cake pops have rich chocolate centers, crisp candy coating, and fondant horns. Get our easy no-bake recipe to make them for your next party.
