We dressed the table in white with a yellow & white seersucker table runner. Yellow is my favorite color and I absolutely love this table runner!
We used simple white beaded rim dinnerware from Target. These plates are so pretty and the bead detail adds a vintage touch. The plates are available a la carte or as a set. The place settings sat atop my favorite casual braided yellow place mats.
Simple yellow cotton napkins were embellished with a Dapper Dans red & white striped bow tie. I made these little bow ties using Offray 1 1/2″ wide red & white stripe grosgrain ribbon. Simple round glasses held our Mickey mint julep lemonade.
For our centerpiece we featured a yellow enamelware bucket of red and white geraniums. A vintage style medallion pick featuring Cinderella Castle and a retro style Magic Kingdom sign were created using custom printables. Our centerpiece was rounded out with a Dapper Dans style straw hat with a red & white striped ribbon and an old fashioned apothecary jar filled with colorful candy.
We decorated our drink and dessert table with layered white and yellow tablecloths embellished with red and white polka dot ribbon bows.
Our table was filled with a cooler of cold lemonade, some fresh lemons, a vintage style chalk board, a tiered dessert tray, and some yummy candy.
Our menu was inspired by our favorite eats & treats of Main Street U.S.A. Dishes were inspired by menu items at Plaza Restaurant, Casey’s Corner, Plaza Ice Cream Parlor, and Main Street Confectionery. The treats are all simple to create and so much fun to serve. Get our recipes below.
Nothing says warm sunshine and blue skies like lemonade! This delicious drink found at Casey’s Corner in Magic Kingdom is incredibly refreshing. To create it at home, make a simple syrup with water, sugar and mint. Simply combine your mint infused simple syrup with lemonade and pour over ice. Garnish with two lemon slices and a sprig of mint. The version at Casey’s is served as a slushy so these ingredients can also be blended if you prefer. Get the recipe here.
These loaded fries at the Plaza Restaurant are a fan favorite for good reason. These crisp fries are topped with rich cheese sauce, cool ranch dressing, crisp lettuce, juicy tomatoes, and crumbles of bacon. They are the ultimate comfort food. They’re definitely sharable and make a perfect side dish, appetizer or party snack! Get our recipe here.
This BLT wedge salad is crisp, fresh, and delicious. A quarter wedge of iceberg lettuce is topped with crisp bacon, juicy tomatoes, and cool ranch. At the Plaza Restaurant this salad is topped with Green Goddess which is also quite delicious. This salad comes together in just a few minutes and is beautiful. It’s sure to be a guest favorite! Get our recipe here.
Corn dog nuggets at Casey’s Corner are wildly popular. Why not enjoy them at home!? We purchased frozen mini corn dogs at our local supermarket and made a delicious cheese sauce for dipping. These little corn dog nuggets with cheese sauce are perfect for a party, movie night, or just for fun. Our cheese sauce recipe is coming soon.
Are there any donut sundae fans out there? The Plaza Ice Cream parlor’s famous donut sundae is easy to create at home. This dessert is definitely shareable… Or just skip dinner and eat this instead.
To make this decadent treat, start with some tasty apple pie filling and top it with a glazed donut. Add a scoop or two of vanilla ice cream, hot fudge sauce, and whipped cream. We sprinkled our sundae with chocolate chips and topped it with a cherry. Get our recipe here.
The giant Mickey sugar cookie with dipped ears is a classic. Our family likes to stop at the Main Street Confectionery in Magic Kingdom to pick up one of these for the trip home.
These delicious treats are easy to recreate at home. They only require a large Mickey cookie cutter, sugar cookie dough, and melted chocolate. As a variation these can also be dipped in white chocolate and sprinkled with rainbow jimmies. Get our recipe here.
These no-bake Disney Park treats are fun and easy to make, yet so yummy. Start out with a batch of classic Rice Krispie treats. Add a little Mickey magic, some white chocolate, and mini chocolate gems, and you have a delicious Disney Park treat at home. Get our recipe here.
