Entertain with Magic
Create your own DIY Mickey topiary set for your home, tablescape, or front porch. Our tutorial makes it quick, easy, and affordable to add some classic Disney magic to your home for a few dollars. These topiaries were featured on our Steamboat Willie tablescape.
These adorable classic Mickey and Minnie topiaries are easy to make and use just a few materials. Below was our cost to create each topiary:
7-inch boxwood ball $7.00
Two 4-inch boxwood balls $5.00
One 1/2-inch wooden dowel $. 59
Styrafoam block $1.00
Galvanized steel pail $4.00 (using a 50% off coupon)
1 package of reindeer moss $1.00
Total Cost = $18.59. This is about half the cost of comparable topiaries.

Instructions:
1. Cut two 6-inch lengths of florist wire and curve them each into a “U” shape.
2. Loop wire through each of the small balls. Next wire each to the large ball securely to resemble a Mickey head.
3. Clip or tuck wires inside boxwood ball.
4. Place styrofoam block into the pail.
5. Insert the dowel firmly into the foam block making sure the dowel is straight.
6. Top the foam block with reindeer moss.
7. Place the boxwood Mickey head onto the dowel.
