Ohana Noodles are a famous Disney fan favorite served at Ohana Restaurant at Disney’s Polynesian Resort. This restaurant serves a famous all you can eat evening meal featuring these Ohana noodles along with vegetables, various meats, wings, potstickers, POG juice, and Ohana Bread Pudding. It is a fabulous Polynesian feast!
You can create this feast at home with our copycat recipe for Ohana noodles. Get our recipes for Ohana Bread pudding, potstickers, a beautiful Te Fiti Sunrise drink. Add your favorite stir fried meats or tofu and some steamed vegetables for a Polynesian feast! This meal was featured on our Moana Disney dinner.
Note: This recipe was modified from Disney’s Ohana Noodle recipe to make a smaller batch. This still makes a lot of noodles!
Ingredients
Instructions
1. Cook noodles – Cook, drain and cool the Yakisoba Noodles according to the package directions.
2. Make sauce – In a medium saucepan, combine brown sugar, soy sauce, rice vinegar, garlic, and ginger. Bring to a boil. Meanwhile, whisk together pineapple juice and cornstarch in a small bowl. Once the sauce comes to a simmer, whisk in the pineapple juice and corn starch slurry. Bring back to a boil and simmer for 10 minutes. Drain through a fine mesh sieve and discard the garlic and ginger. Set aside.
4. Combine noodles – Add Yakisoba noodles and pineapple sauce to sauteed vegetables. Toss.
5. Serve – Serve the noodles arranged on a platter with your favorite steamed vegetables, savory potstickers, and sauteed tofu or a meat of your choice. I like to reserve a little pineapple sauce to stir fry our tofu or meat with. This is a delicious meal that your guests are sure to love!
