Invite your guests for dinner at La Ratatouille! This Disney dinner is packed with delicious recipes, decor ideas, and a full menu. Bon appetit!
Remy is an absolutely charming rat who dreams of becoming a great French chef. When he finds himself situated beneath the famous restaurant of his culinary hero, Auguste Gusteau, Remy makes his move! This adorable and inspiring movie reminds all of us to be courageous and follow our dreams.
“ Anyone can cook, but only the fearless can be great” – Chef Gusteau
Young Remy wants to cook and is consumed with his dream of someday becoming a great chef. Remy has a problem, though – He’s a rat. In the film Remy is vigilant about cleanliness and order which inspired our clean minimalist tablescape.
We dressed our table in a basic white tablecloth with striped white and gray tea towel napkins. This tablecloth is one of our favorites – it’s stain resistant and washes up beautifully. The napkins were sewn from some of our favorite fabric, but you can get similar ones here.
Our round white dinnerware adorned with a sprig of fresh lavender. We love our classic dinnerware set and have had it for years. It’s no longer available, but this set is very similar and quite affordable. We used classic wine glasses and flatware.
Our centerpiece was a delicious French fruit & cheese board. Guests nibbled throughout the meal. We arranged the cheese, fruits, crackers and breads on rustic wooden serving trays. We used three sizes and stacked them to create interest. These trays were handmade but you can purchase similar ones here. Their character and natural beauty make them some of my most used and favorite serving pieces.
The food was the star of the show for this Disney dinner!
Remy has a heightened sense of smell, a discerning palette, and is gifted in the culinary arts. This menu was inspired by food from the film and is such a treat!

This French fruit and cheese board is any rat or food lover’s dream! In honor of Remy, we included a variety of fruits (including Remy’s favorite strawberries), French cheeses, baguette, and crisp crackers. Guests loved nibbling throughout the meal. Get our recipe here.
Ratatouille is so simple, yet so vibrant and delicious! It’s a guest favorite and will wow your dinner guests! We arranged our veggies in the shape of Remy’s face. Get our recipe here. This traditional and rustic French entree pairs perfectly with baguette and a glass of red wine. Bon appetit!
This salad is one of my favorites! It’s so simple, yet delicious and is a guest favorite. Mixed greens, thinly sliced beets, crumbled goat cheese, and toasted walnuts pair deliciously with a traditional balsamic vinaigrette. Get our recipe here.
These mini sized rustic French treats are an apple lover’s favorite. They taste like warm apple pie but are even easier to make. We used our favorite Mickey cookie cutter to add some fun detail. Get our recipe here.
These rich fudgy cupcakes are filled with decadent chocolate mousse and topped with buttercream. We created a fondant Remy face covered with gray sprinkles for some while others were covered with soup ingredients and a wooden spoon. They were fun to make, serve, and eat! Get the recipe here.
Red wine pairs perfectly with ratatouille so we created a fun wine label. Remy’s Reserve Wine Label PDF can be downloaded here if you’d like to embellish your favorite red wine bottle.
